Calendar "Weiße Schäferhunde 2013"

23 jury members looked at over 100 photos and tried to find the most beautiful pictures for our calendar. It was very difficult, the range changed fast - just about the first three places the jury agreed. The winning photo appeared in the range of 14 judges, five of them thought it to be the best of 100.

For the first time, everybody could send the photos in normal size by mail. Finally our little village got a fast internet connection. This is why we had a new record in mails. We had to reduce the number of photos per participant to 15.

Thanks to all 23 judges. Some of them are owners and/or breeders of White Shepherds, some are "only" dog owners without any connections to the white scene and some don't even own a dog. This guarantees a good mixture of photos.

Once more Manu Keggenhoff from Canada won our little competition 154 points to her photo:

showing Fynnian-Sugar of Buscin's Love und Blizzy vom Ebbegebirge. The lovely scenery and the great atmosphere made it to a perfect shot. Congratulations to Canada and lots of thanks to Manu for her participation for many, many years!

The second and third place were quite close to each other for a long time. At least place 2 got 5 points more. It is a photo taken by Horst Anderlohr. Place 2

Place 3 are the two beautiful males Buddy-Enrico vom Osteland + Ben-Hur von den Weissen Wupper Wölfen owned by Petra Borger from Berlin. She participated the first time - and two of her photos are shown in our calendar 2013.

One or two black and white print go usually into our calendar, too. This time (like in the past years) a b/w photo came in fourth. Legend of White Ben Aron, taken by Ralf Schwalemeyer aus Oberhausen seems to love his boat trip. Ralf sent us his photos for the first time, too. Congratulations!

Our own photo, "Snuffs White" Karhu, was placed 5th this year. A nice autumn photo between our local maize fields. The photo got 55 points.

Sending in photos and being shown in the calendar means also a free, large-sized (DIN A3) calendar. The calendars are now ready for shipment. Thanks a lot for sending in phots - and to not forget to send us photos for 2014!

You can order the calendar by our German shop system or, alternatively, by contacting us by mail. There are two sizes available. As the postage and payment terms are differing, please contact us by mail when you do not live in Germany. You can write in English, French, Norwegian and Swedish. Here is the design:
